Sunday 14th June – Festival Freewheel

 

The 4 Heatons Traders famous Festival is coming back to the Heatons this June. To help make the Festival more sustainable we will be leading on rides from Heaton Norris, Mersey and Chapel.  Each of the routes are on quiet roads and cycle paths where possible. So ditch the car and join us on the Freewheel to the Festival.

 

Heaton Norris – meet at Love Lane Pavilion @10:30, arrive at the Festival by 11am

Heaton Mersey – meet at Richmond Park Lower Entrance at the rear of The Crown @ 11:20am, arrive at Festival by 11:50am

Heaton Chapel – meet at community orchard (ex-North Heatons School Playing Fields) @12:10, arrive at festival by 12:30pm

 

 

For all rides:

Numbers are limited and spaces must be reserved in advance.  Please email Sustainable Living in the Heatons to secure your places.  Please also confirm numbers in your group and which rides you wish to join. We’re unable to guarantee a place on the ride, unless you’re booked in advance.  Under 16′s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Sunday 26 July  – Wythenshawe Games 

 

Meet:  Heaton Moor Library Car Park

Start time: 10:45am

Distance: 20 km

Finish time: around 3pm

The Ride: We off to see and take part in the Wythenshawe Community Games. There are all sorts of activities taking place and you can choose which ones you take part in or watch. Check out the games at: http://www.wythenshawegames.org.uk/

 

 

Sunday 27 September  – Chorlton Water Park and Family Fun Day

 

Meet:  SLH Community Orchard, the ex North Heatons School playing field

Start time: 10:30am

Distance: 24 km

Finish time: around 3pm

The Ride: We going to pedal over to Chorlton Water Park for their family fun day. The route will be mostly quiet roads and good surface tracks. This is our longest ride!
